PG Accuracy Championship Mechukha 2017

The event was organized by the Center for Cultural Research & Documentation in partnership with the Dept. of Tourism of Arunachal Pradesh.

The day will be reminded again and again in the history of Indian Paragliding. This Day during the adventure@mechukha 2017, a non-sanctioned Paragliding accuracy event, following almost every rule of the FAI competition was organized at the beautiful Mechukha in Arunachal The championship was held at Mechukha a border town at a high altitude of 1890 meters close to Mac Mohan Line the land blessed with medicinal snow-fed water- river & streams. The event was possible by the vision of organizers of Adventure at Mechukha, Arunachal Pradesh Tourism Department & CCRD. This was the day a seed, a vision was sown which has given wings to Paragliding sport in the North East region of Indi

‘Arunachal Paragliding Festival’ 2018

Arunachal Paragliding Festival, a grand celebration was organized at Papu Valley a newly identified and developed paragliding site at Lumdung, East Kameng District wef 17 – 19 NOVEMBER 2018.

The event was organized by the Paragliding Association of Arunachal with support from the Dept. of Tourism of Arunachal Pradesh and Department of Sports, Government of Arunachal Pradesh with active technical input from Adventure Zone Sikkim.

The two days flying event was declared open by our HMLA 11-Seppa West Shri Mama Natung. Shri Gaurav Singh Rajawat DC Seppa, Officers, public leaders, general public, students’ community witness the first of its kind event. 30 Pilots are participated in the festival. They are from Slovenia, Canada, Nepal, Indonesia, USA and 30 gliders are participated from different part of our country.

3rd state Olympic Games 2019

As a continuation of Arunachal Paragliding Festival 2018, Paragliding Association of Arunachal organized State Level Paragliding Accuracy Competition as part of the State Olympic Games to choose the State paragliding champion in accuracy. at Lumdung (Papu Valley) from 27th to 30th December 2019.

Meghalaya Open Paragliding Accuracy Championship

This event is a great way to introduce Meghalaya, (Abode of Clouds in Sanskrit) one of the seven North-Eastern states of India. Famous for its high rainfall, subtropical forests, and biodiversity. A hill station that is home to a beautiful, mesmerizing sky in a true sense has captivated the minds of tourists all across the globe. It is said that the rolling hills of Meghalaya reminded the British of Scotland. Hence, they would also refer to it as the “Scotland of the East”.
